Modern Iridology Distance Learning Course

John Andrews is pleased to announce his new International Modern Iridology Distance Learning Course.

The distance learning course modules have been developed due to popular demand and are intended for those interested in modern iridology and also for those who would like to take it further professionally and is geared for existing practitioners in other fields and also existing iridologists, in addition to those new to subject (those without existing qualifications have to complete an anatomy & physiology module or similar before the full course completion) or with a general interest.

The initial stages of the course are based on instructional CDs, books and papers. From Module 2 we will have a new Modern Iridology Chart based on modern research by John Andrews, as is a lot of the content of the CDs and the books. The course is split into modules, so it takes you through the basics of contemporary study and practice in iridology to more more advanced and modern themes - many of which not covered on courses elsewhere - the new research stems from from the modern iridology work & experience of John Andrews, unless otherwise stated on either a CD or in the literature.

You can complete one module at a time and stop at any moment or go through the whole process. You can take your time with each module. You study the course at your own pace.

After each module there is a small written examination (test) to sit, which you can complete on your desktop or online and email back to us. Once you have studied each module you can request we email you the examination/test paper. Once each module is completed you can move onto the next - there are five modules in total - each will come with approximately 6 CDs and either a book or books or charts and extra written material when indicated. You can complete the modules in your own time, so it takes as long as you need.

From April 2011 we intend to have a Skype service set-up when John Andrews will have time put aside for students to communicate regarding the modules or any questions they have, this will probably be one two days a month - we will arrange these dates and timesfor this in advance via email, for which there is no extra fee.

To end the course there is a clinical training, so students can attend at my clinic in the UK or we can arrange a venue in particular countries, depending on the demand.

Please purchase the modules at the bottom of the page.

Differentiation of Iris Pigmentation 120 slides 140MB
Life and the eye are full of colour – but we need to have an-depth knowledge of the iris pigment development, location and differentiation. This CD helps to challenge myths about iris pigmentation. Pigment types covered include brown, orange, yellow (differentiation of dysbiosis, splenic, renal, histamine & EFAs factors), black, punctate/peppercorn pigments, spleen pigments, Pathochromia (“Psora”), central heterochromia, Sectoral Heterochromia, pigments & pain, medical reasons for changes in eye colour, prominent topographical location of iris pigments, hedgehog pigment, bush pigment, waterfall pigment, solitary pigments, pigments with other signs, emotional qualities of the pigment and much more covered in unrivalled practical detail.

Differentiation of Lacunae & Crypts 159 slides 96MB
Interpretation of the lacuna & crypts, genetic footprints, which organs or tissues do not produce lacuna in the iris, frequency of the topographical location of lacuna in the iris, differentiation of the following lacunae - closed lacuna, open, one-sided, rhomboid, lacuna with crypt, lacuna with pigment, lacuna with collarette indentation, solitary collarette lacuna, Endocrine/Polyglandular types, jellyfish, asparagus, beak, giant, thymus, adrenal, ovary, thyroxine lacuna, shoe, heart, silver fibre, Stairstep, internal lacuna, cryptoids, Daisy petal, double, divided, distorted, torpedo, circular, leaf, negative & many more.

The Collarette 140 slides 165MB
John Andrews is considered a world authority on the iris collarette. The fundamental & advanced importance of the structure & integrity of the collarette is covered in detail with the multiple dynamics associated with restricted collarette, various types of distended collarette, zigzag, partial zigzag, local indentation, cat’s ears, linear, pigmented, mixed, sea foam collarette, squared collarette, frontal indentation, DNA predominance, emotional dynamics, vascularised collarette, collarette point, triple, double, bridges, Koch’s sign, atrophy, thin or hypotrophic collarette, hypertrophy, funnel sign, protuberance, Arched collarette, epigenetics and new research with the collarette.

Identification of Spinal & Neuromuscular Concerns in Iridology 60 slides 70MB
The supposed ciliary iris spine topography has proven to be unreliable and insignificant as a method of assessing and identifying neuromuscular spinal problems or injuries. The inner pupillary border is a more reliable method of identification. Combined with the pupil, the IPB points to a dynamic and accurate interpretation for the practitioner. Charts, signs and new research are all covered this instructional CD is ideal for iridologists and for all involved in structural or physical therapies.

Profiles of Polycystic Ovary Syndrome Research in Modern Iridology 80 slides 50MB
